Dressage report 12th March 17

It was an action packed day with lots of entries for both our judges Gerry Howell & Hilary Dreaves on Sunday 12th March at Adlington EC, many thanks to David Shore for the setting up of the arena and having the all important café running!  Our judges gave lots of lovely comments and helpful feedback to our competitors which was most appreciated.

15 riders contested class 1 Restricted Intro B with some lovely tests Members Vicky Curtis, who won the class with Amy Waterhouse & our Chairwoman Angela Santos Rosa on the ever green Primetime Poppy (22, horse that is J ) with very creditable scores and as Angela only made the decision to enter last minute after a cancellation she was quite rightly thrilled.  Junior member Olivia Curtis won the junior section with 62.2%

Megan Ward was thrilled with her win on Emerald Green her lovely young horse with 70.8 % in the Restricted Prelim7, Members Vicky Curtis(2nd) Lottie Dennett (3rd and best junior) and Clare Hope(4th) all should be pleased with their placings in another busy class.

Nici Aves & Dante won the Open Intro whilst Members Kath Lomas (4th) & Amy Waterhouse (5th) had great scores of 69.6 & 68.5 respectively, it was a very high standard.

Julie Garsden with Celtic Bridge won the Open Prelim 18 with 66.7% and then 4 juniors took the stage with Bridget Bedford on Tremoreland Magic with a score of 66.3 %  with great scores from members Hannah Birkitt (3rd) & Freya Barratt (4th)

Novice 30 was won by Junior Bridget Bedford with a score of 64% Bridget having a very good day & who kindly help put away at the end of the day (thank you) whilst members Molly Blackburn with Jock & Hannah Birkitt with Val both been placed.

Chris Hunt too had a good day winning the Elementary Class & junior Molly Blackburn with Jock put up a very creditable 2nd place.

Thank you thank you our team of helpers, Angela Santos Rosa, Katie & Evie Wood, Lisa Shepherd, Grace Howell, Brenda Critchlow, Kath Lomas. Team Birkitt for your help clearing away.
